[9-9-16 UPDATE: Rec'd Gun back from ATI factory in May with note from gun smith: "Inspected the firearm. I inspected the barrel and brushed and cleaned the chamber and feed ramp. I inspected and replaced the primary and secondary recoil springs. I assembled and test fired 50 rounds of CCI Mini Mag ammo. The firearm fed every round and functioned perfectly."
My subsequent test locally with 50 rounds of CCI Mini Mags produced the same results except on 2 full magazines I had to give slide a small nudge to bring to battery. My guess is I was using the slide release - if I had pulled on the slide release to disengage the slide catch, it might have been a perfect 50 rounds. I also completely replace the rear sight assembly which somehow had become chipped, with factory parts.
[4-9-16 UPDATE: My better half has convinced to try again with American Tactical warranty work. I will try again, hoping to maybe get this weapon improved before I put if up for sale again. We'll see what happens. Thanks for reading.]
I purchased this gun new in 2014 and have put 400 rounds through it. I am the original owner. Gently cleaned with a bore snake, NO rod applied. Additional gun data can be read here:
