Rule 10Originally posted by LarryLipmanI'll give you $1000 for it. For those of you who continue to over charge for this gun, please see the attached link. These guns go, consistently, for $1000 on Gunbroker.com
I don't know why or how the habit of posting these for such high prices came about, but people can buy new guns all day long at $1200
10) Thread-crapping.
Commenting on a post in a negative manner, called 'thread-crapping', is not allowed. If you think an item is overpriced or of lesser quality, don't buy it. If you have concerns about the seller PM a Moderator or Admin and we can discuss the matter. Thread-crapping will be deleted, multiple instances of thread-crapping will result in being barred from the Marketplace forums entirely. -
No, brand new FN5.7 do not regularly or consistently go for $1000 on gunbroker. Not even used ones go for that. Search completed items like I just did. Anything currently listed for $1000 has a reserve or gets bid up. And they all have 20rd mags. Everyone charges more for the 10rd mag versions, for whatever reason - even big online sellers.Originally posted by LarryLipmanI'll give you $1000 for it. And if you buy off gun broker you have to pay shipping plus you still pay your transfer FFL the sales tax, a transfer fee, and you burn a one-in-thirty slot. None of which applies to this sale. Get real man, you're playing yourself with this rant.
And nice thread crap - you should have just PMd a mod and asked them to ban you, it's faster that way...
The market will set the price for this, maybe not what is listed but well more than $1000.Last edited by SkyHawk; 10-10-2016, 10:04 PM.Comment

I was just reacting, maybe too quickly, to what I thought was really high asking prices as compared to what I was seeing elsewhere. You're right that there's a difference in completed, but still a huge delta between that and the recent average prices I was seeing here. Consumerism dictates that you can just silently walk. But I chose, and maybe inappropriately, to show evidence of what I was seeing elsewhere. Hopefully, conversation about this is the best evidence of maturity and rational thought as opposed to the ridiculous flaming and low brow blasting you see on other formatsComment
