I dont think the frame alone of a pistol can be sold/transferred in California. It has to be a complete, functional handgun. Otherwise wed all be buying STI 2011 frames and the such since so many are off roster.

PPT's are exempt from roster. You can PPT all the STI 2011 frames you want.

Been getting lots of questions about proof these are registered as pistols. Does anyone know how I can get proof since these never went through a CA FFL? When I moved I filled out the registration paperwork for my firearms and recieved a confirmation they were registered but it doesn't say anything about them being pistols... If you send off a request to see which firearms are registered to you, does CA list the firearm type?

It should have said pistol on the registration you got. If it doesn't they might now be registered as rifles. I would look back at any paperwork you have.

                      (2) Stripped AR pistol lowers, Sacramento/Roseville, No Shipping

The FFL will decide what will pass muster as pistol. If the FFL won't touch it, or won't transfer it as a pistol lower then you are SOL.

Thanks for all the interest. I am working today and will get back to all the people who messaged me about them as soon as possible. Still working out a way to get proof they are pistols.

Is pistol engraved anywhere on them? If not why not just call ca doj and speak with them about it? They aren't that unfriendly.
