Other info:
Up for sale is my Springfield Custom Carry. According to Deb E at SACS, the manufacture date was August of 1990. It was intended to be used as a writers sample for a magazine. The gun is in a beautiful blue finish. A chrome A.D. Swenson ambi safety looks like it was installed. The chrome on the safety has worn off and copper is now exposed. The frame is carbon steel and has an arched MSH and the front strap is slick with no checking. The beavertail is a beautiful plum color along with the mag release. The slide has the Springfield Custom roll mark. Full length guide rod.Original box, foam and cleaning rod included. The box has a writer's sample label on it indicating the provenance of this pistol. Cocobolo grips are original. One Chip McCormick Shooting Star magazine included. For those that don't know the Springfield Professional Model starts off as a Custom Carry then it is tweaked to FBI specs. For being almost 26 years old, I'd give the condition around a 9/10.
Do not post in my thread unless you plan on purchasing the handgun. Any questions, please PM me.
