Want to sell my 4" S&W 28-2 (1978). It's not collector grade. A pinned and recessed 4 " N frame in great shape is hard to find - especially in California. The grips are Diamond Magna's - obviously not original, but value wise, better than original.
The sights are white outline rear and red ramp front - not original.
The double / single action are the best I've experienced in any old S&W (I have a bunch of them).
The finish is beautiful. I know 28's have a semi-matt finish, this one has a finish on a par with a 27. I see no indication of a refinish. All lines and emblems are sharp - but I could be wrong.
So If you are searching for a very nice N frame You can shoot and enjoy, this is the one for you.
