Both of these off list pistols are in the category of carried a lot, shot a little. My favorite locations for transfer are Ammo Bros in Cerritos or Santa Ana.
SOLD The Sig P6/225 9mm is a classic single stack 9mm double action/single action from back when you could get a precision made pistol without the corporate cost cutting 'improvements'. Whether you like the newer Sigs or not you have to admit Sig is not the same company it used to be. This is a great blend of big enough to get a perfect grip on but not bulky. It is a sweet shooter and feels perfectly balanced. I'm thinning the herd so no trades. $800, no shipping.
SOLD The Colt Commander is a .45acp pistol that is slightly lighter and shorter than the Colt Government model, making it very popular for carry. If you read about guns you know that Colt firearms in general are a good investment. This is a Series 70, so it has added value to shooters and collectors. It seems that most of these Series 70 Commanders got sent off to custom gunsmiths for modification to suit the owners taste. Most Colt shooters/collectors choose this Series 70 design over the newer version and also believe the material and workmanship of the Series 70 to be superior.
