SOLD!!! Rock Island Armory compact 1911 North OC area, no shipping

SPF!! Rock Island Armory Compact 1911
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY: This 1911 is NEEDS work to perform properly. First a little history. I purchsed this 1911 used. Previous owner stated it only had 200 rounds fired throught it, but I am not sure if that is accurate. Soon after purchasing I bought some Wilson combat replacement parts (trigger, extended magazine realease and hand grip screws) and a new set of handgrip and then suffered an injury that kept me from going to the range for about a year. Once I finally made it to the range, I found out this 1911 had problems. The grip safety did not work and it wouldn't always fire when the trigger was pulled. I tore it apart and saw the sear spring was bent in the wrong location. Before reassembling it, I added the Wilson Combat parts, the new grips and re bent the sear spring. I did not get a new sear spring because the bow on the new trigger needs adjusting, so I planned to send it to a gunsmith since I don't have the proper tools to adjust it. But first I took it back to the range to test it. The grip safety now functions properly but it has what I best describe as stage fright. At home with snap caps, it functions great. But at the range, sometimes it fires when you pull the trigger, sometimes it doesn't. It seems like the disconnecter is not releasing because you pull the trigger and the hammer does not drop. Sometimes it will fire four or five rounds in a row perfectly and then you pull the trigger again and the hammer does not drop. I put it away and planned to send it off to a gunsmith to have the trigger bow adjusted and whatever is causing the hammer not to drop fixed, but never got around to it. Now I have other projects I want to get done and really don't want to invest anymore into this one. So if you know how to repair 1911s or are willing to send this to a gunsmith, then this may be a nice deal for you. PLEASE DO NOT buy this expecting to go to the range and have it function properly. It will function perfectly at home with snap caps, but once again, it will not function perfectly at the range with live ammo for some reason. I will include all the stock parts and grips with it
Located in North Orange County Area. If you would like to look it over before committing to buying and have a place to do so and decent itrader rating, I would be willing. Sorry no shipping. Buyer pays all transfer fees. Would like to do transfer at local FFL SOLD!!
