I have this gun in .40 and it feels like im shooting a 9mm. The gun absorbs most of the recoil. Only gripe I have about this gun is that it is heavy, and that you can't blame the gun if you do not hit where you want, haha, but it was never a problem for me

Enjoy the gun! I paid about $300 more for it and I still don't regret the purchase.
