Other info: Great home defense gun. Truth be told the 2 mags I have are not top quality. They're factory mags, but they really are range mags (only real problem is they don't lock the slide back after emptying). For whatever reason the previous owner either bought them used or beat them up. PLEASE do yourself a favor and buy a couple new mags if you're going to keep this for a "bump in the night" HD gun.
As such, the price is lower. The ENTIRE rest of the Springfield "New Gun" box is cherry (you get OWB holster, mag holster, speed loader, carry case). I have recently cleaned it and the slide/internals look new. The gun has about 400-500 rounds through it by me. Shop claimed it had 300 when it was bought.
You'll be getting a tough, reliable, accurate gun. Just spend some of the $100+ you save buying from me on mags and ammo!
