Have had over 10 members commit to purchasing on my listings, and then disappear completely when it's time to meet for ppt or purchase.. what's the protocol on this? Negative feedback?

Neutral at most if you had a time and place set up and were then ghosted.

If you never completed the agreement to meet, I would walk away.

Negative rating is for loss of money, product defective, not as advertised, not delivered, etc.

Yep, I've only had ONE legit seller reach out to me, which is ridiculous so now If I want something I just browse and look for it

Beware of James Humphrey, he emailed me off a WTB ad stating he had what I was looking for and sent pictures and everything. Said he was from Virginia and asked what FFL dealer I was using and a contact number for him. He called back an hour later and said it was all squared away he sends guns over here often. I so happen to be close friends with the FFL dealer and he said nobody called and spoke to him at all. James said he needed half the money than he would ship overnight. I backed out knowing it was a scam so just wanted to let everyone know

I think this is a place to support the community, not double and triple charge our brothers and sisters. I'm all for supply and demand. But when you are using your sworn position for gain, that's a bit of conflict of interest for me. Just venting

this member joined today Larkinandrew
and replied straight away to my WTB posting looking for a 1911 frame.
He recommended me to write an email to a guy, his buddy selling 1911 frames.
I wrote to his friend and he asked me a very fair amount of money $150 for a
1911 frame with all its new parts.
He stated he will ship to FFL of my Choice, asking to pre-pay it with Zelle.
I told him I would pay after having inspected the parts once they arrive at FFL.
He refused asking for at least half payment in advance.
Of course I Am not paying a complete stranger with ZERO itrader score.
I do think this is SCAM. So I Want to report Larkinandrew as he may scam somebody else.
