    WTS: S&W Model 627 38 / 357 - Now off roster

    SOLD.

2nd EDIT - Because everything firearms related in California is so convoluted and makes no sense.... The SKU of my 627 is: 170210. This is NO LONGER ON THE ROSTER. The SKU that is on the roster now is: 170210A.

The "A" stamp is a new requirement.

    ---------------------
EDITED - I doubled checked and it appears that this model IS STILL on the roster, but I can confirm that it DOES NOT have the stamp illustrated on the DOJ roster page. I bought it new in 2013 or so. I have reduced the price to $1,200. to reflect this.

    --------------------------
    Smith and Wesson (S&W) Performance Center Model 627 .38 / .357
    Stainless 5" barrel DA/SA.

This revolver is no longer on the DOJ list, but can be bought from a private seller. Flawless condition in Ventura County. $1,350. obo.

Everything that originally came with it, including case, extra pair of grips (syn.), 2 moon clips and cable lock.

Perfect condition. +/- 100 rounds down the pipe.

Will ship if buyer pays shipping and FFL handling. Prefer FTF.

I just had this conversation last wk at a gun store with one of its employees. The model can be on the roster but that particular gun might not be ca legal because the manufacturer did not pay the extra $$$ to get the stamp on it

1200 plus tax is a little over 1300, this one comes with extra accessories so is a better deal if you don't mind 100 rounds down the pipe

I just picked up my s&w 627 performance center v comp today. It was bought from a listing i saw on gunsamerica that was out of state. They shipped it to my local store and there was no problems or questions when i received it. It is on the doj list for 2015 and there is no additional "a" or any other letter on the serial number. I was told by my local store it needed an engraved "a" but it seems that isnt the case. Im thinking maybe for a california store to sell the same gun it has to have the extra "a". But if purchased from a store out of state it didnt need it. Can anyone clarify?

I was told a couple wks ago that to b registered in case it needed an a engraved on it from the manufacturer. But if it didn't u need to fill out paperwork for the doj to approve it
