WTT Springfield XD 357sig, SoCal, No Shipping

    Make: Springfield

    Model: XD 4inch

    Caliber: 357sig / 9mm

Location (city or county): Riverside / Orange county

    Price: WTT or $425

    Will ship (Y/N): No

    Other info:

    Hey guys,

I have an XD that I have had for 7-8 yrs. Its in very nice shape, prob 600-800 rounds of 357sig and 400-500 rounds of 9mm through it. I've grown used to shooting my glock and this gun just does not do it for me anymore. I love the 357sig around and its a blast to shoot, along with having excellent ballistics.

I have a 9mm conversion barrel (I believe EFK, i'd have to dig it up) that is included.

    2x 357sig mags
2x 40 mags (can modify the lips to feed either 357sig or 9mm depending)
    2x 9mm mags

I'm interested in the following trades along with cash on my part

    S&W 357mag / 44mag wheel guns

Sig P228 (older only, no new rail or new milled slide model)
    Glock G31/G32
    Sig P229 9mm or 357sig
    Ruger MKII / MKIII

I can obviously sweeten a deal for a Sig with cash / 357sig ammo

How do you swap in a barrel and shoot 9mm when the casings are different sizes? Seems to me you would need a new slide...

The barrel OD and chamber OD are the same exact size on a lot of different hand guns. They generally break them into small / large caliber groupings. This allows them to make one frame / slide that works with different calibers.

I assure you this is not any sort of wizardy or black magic...

I am clear on the barrel part but what about the extractor & ejector? I was told that they are caliber-specific, which is why 40SW & 357Sig work fine on the same gun, but 9mm is unpredictable on an 40/357 piece because of the extractor/ejector assembly.

No issues what so ever, as i mentioned, i've fired 500 rds of 9mm through it. Not a single hiccup.
