Colt
Officers Model Target
.38 Special
6" barrel
$400

This is a 1949 manufacture "transition" revolver. I have shot it a few times. But, only used jacketed bullets. This really should use lead wad cutters or lead round nose in 148 or 158 gr.
The good: (Looks better in person) action is tight 100%, bore and muzzle are excellent. Bluing is very good.
The bad: 1. front sight adjustment screw is stripped out. The locking screw is fine.
2. The grips/stocks are not original. I bought these from another CGN member, as I got the revolver with the old plastic stocks. I believe at one point there were the hard-to-find checkered walnut target stocks mounted.
The ugly: the previously mentioned screw hole on the front, the stocks have been notched for Tyler T-grips, or Pachs. The frame also exhibits a faint crescent line of where target stocks were once mounted, and bluing wear near the muzzle.
Trades plus cash will also be considered, but don't lowball.
Will ship (Y)
Other info: I will do my part for the right deal if a potential buyer is serious, and has a decent history on here. For trades: revolvers, High-Standard .22s
