Light is similar to a Surefire 6P flashlight, takes two CR123A batteries. Fore end has on/off rocker switch on left side and momentary-on pressure switch on right side. Includes fore-end wrench and instructions. I bought it new, installed it, removed it without shooting with it, and have stored it since then. Like new, functions perfectly.
