This stock was likely made by Overton. The ferrule is staked. The pistol grip is noticably meatier which is nice. Has some shades of brown and yellow. Additionally, your typical GI stock is pretty rough sanded. You can easily see sanding marks. This was done very nicely. The stock is one of the smoothest GI stocks I've felt. I'd rub my cheek all over it soft.
I personally like the color it's developed from the raw linseed oil applied through the years but if the buyer likes, some light sanding will remove that top layer. Seems like the stock is 2 tone with a lighter brown shade in some areas.
