Want to Borrow--Rem 700 stock SA, N san diego county

I need to send a couple of Remington 700's back for trigger work. They sent me boxes but the custom stocks I have on the rifles won't fit in the boxes.

Does anyone have a basic plastic stock sitting around that they upgraded and have no need for? I'll like to mount a rifle on it, send it back, and when it comes back do it again, then return your stock.

    thanks,
    Jerry

IMHO I would not go through the, from what I hear, a 60 to 90 day wait for my rifle to return. I would buy a Timney trigger which is a better trigger to get you better accuracy.

im in OC as well. I have a ADL stock, but its a hunting profile, so I don't know if that will work for you. but you are welcome to it.

I'm in San Carlos, as in San Carlos, next door to La Mesa. Not San Marcos! I'm right off the 125. Easy.

Let me know if you are up for the short drive. I've got a couple of SA SPS RH stocks hanging around, and they really aren't much good for anything beyond being a shipping container!

I gotta concur with the recommendation to just buy a Timney. If you care enough for your rifle to replace the stock, you are probably going to be upgrading the trigger sooner or later, anyway!

+1 for timney or any new trigger. You already have a custom stock, now upgrade that x-mark pro

Thats exactly what I did. I didn't bother since I planned to upgrade to a timney anyway. The stock trigger went right in the trash.
