So I made an error in ordering my replacement stock for my Ruger American Rimfire in .17 hmr. I measured the actions screws, all matched up according to the Boyd site, got the stock yesterday, and the magazine doesn't fit. My error? The magazine for a .17 hmr is 1/4" bigger then a .22 LR, and so, while the action and aluminum pillar blocks fit, the magazine does not. I could inlet the stock, cut new grooves on the inside of the stock and make it work, but honestly, I don't want to take the chance of ruining it and turning it into firewood. Thus, selling it here on Calguns.
Boyd's rimfire hunter stock, laminate, in pepper finish, with sling studs.
Paid $92 plus shipping for it, I'll sell it for $85 face to face here in Santa Rosa. I do have the box and shipping materials and will ship on your dime if you want it. PM with questions.
