These pins are 303 Stainless with Grade 8 Black Oxide Allen Head Screws. These fit all AR Lowers but the large pin Colt receivers. Set includes 2 pins, 4 screws and two allen wrenches.
These are high quality and insure a permanent fix to a common problem of the AR style rifle. Pin walk can occur any time either the hammer or trigger pin detent is disturbed and the pin moves in or out until it causes the weapon to malfunction. In the field, guns get bumped around and either pin getting hit hard enough to dislodge the spring detent can result in an undependable weapon.
Further, everyday wear can also contribute to pin walk, the receiver or detent trough itself becomes worn. Too much movement allows the pin to walk without much pressure at all. Pin walk has also been a problem with both the polymer and 80 percent lowers where the pin holes might have been a little out of spec and too loose.
These Pins eliminate the problem of Walk. The screws hold the pins in place and do not allow enough movement to malfunction. I have also had numerous reports that they also smooth the trigger pull.
