I bought this scope in August when I was planning to buy another rifle. Changed my mind about the rifle and am going to buy a 9 mm after the first of the year. I did mount this on my Gamo Silent Stalker last month for about 150 pellets just so I could use it. Its too good a scope to use on shooting 25 - 50 yards. I have 2 other Buckmasters with the BDC reticle on rifles, and really think they are the best value for the money out there. I live in the East Bay near Walnut Creek.
