Some folks cut the stitching to open it up as a shooting mat.

It is essentially new but has been moved round and round in the garage without ever being used.

Got one of these myself some time ago. Wrap up my shooting coat rifle ammo spotting scope and stand hat gloves magazines all in a single package and off I go to shooting range. No need to wrap a separate shooting mat since this works just fine as one. It does make for a pretty heavy pack though.
