How much should I pay for this...

An AR-15 bushmaster computer upper, 20 inch flat bore, 1/9 twist, 556 standard chamber, with complete bolt group and charge handle. Also has top mounted handle and fixed front sights, regular hand guard.

Im piecing together my lower now, (8 days remaining at shop) but want to pick up a good upper for a good price. He wants me to make an offer but not to low ball him, he said someone offered him $300 but scuffed at it and said no way. Claims hes just had it for a few years but never used it.

300 is way too cheap, 500 to 600 is ballpark if it is complete with BCG and CH

Dont know where you are located, but Ammo Bros in Cerritos had a bunch of new uppers for reasonable prices.

Thanks for the tips, Im in the San Diego area. Im open to almost any upper, turns out that this upper is an old A1 with a fixed handle. Not really my style to be honest, Ill keep my options open for now.
