Fellow Calgunners -
I have a mounted but un-used Nightforce NXS 5.5-22X 50mm Zero Stop + NON-High Speed Turret scope. It has the NP-R2 (MOA-based) Reticle and matching .250 Elevation and Windage Turrets, and the glass is free of scratches, nicks, scuffs ect. Includes Nightforce bikini covers but no box or documentation (do you really care about the box? The Nightforce Manual may be downloaded off of the Nightforce web site at this link: http://nightforceoptics.com/support/
The scope is new and the normal Nightforce warranty applies. This scope was mounted on a customer's new Tac Ops rifle and the rifle was taken to ASR for certification. Unfortunately, somehow both the Objective Bell and Ocular Bells on this NXS 5.5-22X50mm ZS NHST NP-R2 .250 MOA/.250 MOA received slight nicks. I wasn't there, and Mike Rescigno (Tac Ops Master Gunsmith and President) didn't see how it happened but what Mike and I think happened is that flying brass from some semi-autos richocheted and nicked the scope bells.
This scope DOES NOT have the High-Speed Turrets. **$1,390.00 Shipped & Insured FedEx Ground in CONUS**. **SOLD, SHIPPED, AND RECEIVED. HAPPY BUYER** I'm not interested in any trades, and payment to be made by U.S. Postal Money Order ONLY. Thank you for looking and for your kind consideration. First "I'll take it" in this thread followed by an Calgunner PM or the email in my Profile gets it. Thanks for looking.
If you would like to inspect the scope in-person I'll do a FTF at ASR (Angeles Shooting Range), or in the Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Eagle Rock, or Pasadena area. The FTF price will be the same at $1,390.00.
Mike rarely goes to ASR to certify and this is one of the reasons why. The scope is really nice, but I prefer MIL so this scope is up for sale. As you can see from the close-up photos below there are also some extremely minor scuffs and the Objective and Ocular Bell nicks are very minor - far less than a scope would typically receive from a tactical competition. There are also slight ring marks, but they're more like scuffs in the anodize and don't go to bare metal.
While the two nicks on the Bells obviously don't affect function, being the perfectionist that he is, Mike is mounting a new scope on the rifle. Sure scuffs, scratches, and worse happen, but if I were a customer expecting to receive my new rifle and scope in pristine condition and saw nicks on my new scope I wouldn't dig it. Nightforce wants more than $500.00 to replace the tube, so Mike just decided to cut his losses and gave this one to me as partial payment for some bartering we did.
