1) Round under-mount unit with 2 attachment points. On/off switch at rear is activated by sliding left or right. Rear is a cap that unscrews for battery replacement. Laser is bright and sharp, comes with allen wrenches for adjustment (both windage and elevation).

2) Square under-mount with 1 attachment point. On/off switch is a button on rear face of unit and includes a setting for blinking or flashing to conserve battery (twice the battery life). Comes with adjustment wrenches (both windage and elevation). Laser is bright and sharp.

I interested in the square one. Is the button on the rear easy to get to?

I have fat fingers and was able to get to it with minimal effort. The unit can be "slid" a bit forward for more room in desired, but my objective was compactness.
