** SOLD **
9 - M1A rebuild parts kits and 3 - M14 bandoleer repack kits....
Legally purchased these in wrappers in the early 1990's. No longer have the M1A so offering them up for sale as rebuild/repair parts. Opened them up to take them apart and made some interesting discoveries. The internet didn't exist then, if I had I probably wouldn't have bought some of these
. These 2 links are highly recommended:
1. The Fulton Armory Lowdown on M1A/M14 Magazines: http://www.fulton-armory.com/%5Cfaqs...%5CM14Mags.htm
2. The Pictorial M14 Magazine Identification Guilde (a free EBook) : http://www.lulu.com/shop/lee-emerson...-20615648.html
I don't know anything more about these parts that what is said in the links above. I never used any of them, just opened them up yesterday.
The Good: 3 (probably) USGI parts kits in good shape

2 bodies marked HR-R, packed in protective paper. Spot of rust on one spring near the follower.

The body is marked BRW S1, packed in silver foil. Follower is appropriately marked as per the Pictorial Guide. Don't see any rust.
[b]The Bad: 2 (probably) reworked USGI parts kits

There are no ID codes on the bodies. The spot welds and latch plate seem to indicate BW, and the followers are marked B-W. The main problem is that these had no anti-rust packaging and the springs have surface rust on them.
The Ugly: 4 (probably) Chinese parts kits

Look at page 205 of the Pictorial Guide and you will see this package in the "fake" section. Both of the above links indicate that these came from China, the grease is the distinguishing feature. 2 are heavily greased up (as you can see), two not so much. Reports on the web are mixed, most common complaint seems to be about the follower. YMMV.
Also, 3 bandoleer repack kits - each holds 120 rounds on stripper clips.

Each kit includes a 6 pocket bandoleer, 12 .308 stripper clips, 6 cardboards (2 clips go into each cardboard holder, the holder goes into the bandoleer pocket), a black safety pin (not sure what the official use for this is), and a charging clip (put clip on the back of a magazine, put the stripper clip in the charger, and push).
As you all probably already know, the M1A has a stripper clip guide right on the receiver so you can use a stripper clip to reload an inserted magazine without having to remove the magazine.
