This upper was on a complete used rifle I purchased from a fellow Calgunner a few weeks ago. I built a separate long range match upper while waiting for rifle to get out of "gun jail" so I never even fired this upper; I just used the bolt and bolt carrier for my new build.
I just stripped this down to a depot level, deep cleaned and lubed it and reassembled to proper specs. the barrel lugs, chamber and barrel looks great. This is 95% cosmetically perfect with only a few small spots here and there on the reciever missing anodizing from minor internal bolt carrier wear and optic mounting.
I'm tempted to keep it for a low cost carbine build, but I'd rather partially fund a good mil/mil scope for my new long range rifle. Building this up new would be around $500; I'm asking for half that price ($250 firm) for a quick and easy sale. Only trade Item I'm looking for is a 4x(ish)-16x(ish) range Mil/Mil tactical scope of Vortex quality or better.
Price is FTF San Diego. I'll Ship Insured UPS for $15. Paypal OK, just add $7.50 for fees (sorry, I can't lie to Paypal about the transaction type - I have a security clearance I'd like to keep!).
