Converts full size Govt Model in 45 or 38 Super(will NOT work on a 70 Series 9MM unless the EJECTOR is removed from the frame) to 22LR. This unit is from
early 60s-- is all complete with parts and the instruction sheet,paper box is
worn on the outside. Pictures of unit mounted on a Commercial
Govt Model from 1940. includes shipping/ins NO FFL required!
NOTE:These units are not super accurate(Colt never made claims
that they were) but the slides are all steel and give the same weight and feel
as the Govt 45,the "floating chamber" gives 4x the recoil of regular 22LR
ammo.In my experience over many years they shoot ANY LR ammo with
no problems,however after about 500 rds cleaning is necessary to
keep the floating chamber floating. They look cool,too!
