Cleaning out some of my extras that are laying around
Good looking USGI walnut Garand stock, no cracks , couple of dents as shown in pics. Has no stampings as it looks to have been sanded several times in its life. I beleive its a Springfield WWII Stock
I cleaned it up and used USSR's stain and several coats of BLO
Lockup was loose so I used JB weld to bed the trigger assembly and receiver heel area. Lock up is now TIGHT and will make for a great shooter. There is overhang at the buttplate from being sanded.
NO METAL INCLUDED ,I just installed it to show overhang
