Mini 14 Choate folding stock and Windrunner bipod

I have a Chaote folding stock for a mini 14 for sale. $75 shipped. I also have a Windrunner bipod for sale as well. $150 shipped. Bipod is new.

How did you mount the bipod to the mini?
is that bar like an accu-strut that is used to mount the bipod?
