It would be stripped down to the original anodizing

its on my carbine length now, but to fit a carbine length you need a low pro gas block

Just a note, I saw this at the Crossroads gun show in person, as OP had it to showcase their awesome Husky sling, the paint job is very nice and these guys are great people to do business with.
