Up for sale is a lightly used Superior Barrels Terebratus 18" SPR profile barrel in .223 Wylde (basically a 5.56 match chamber). Gas system is rifle length. This barrel has less than 100 round through it.
Specs as per the Superior Barrels Web site:
- M4 extension.
- Rifle length gas system.
- .223 wylde chamber.
- 11 degree target crown.
- Douglas premium air gaged 1:7 blank, a TRUE match blank.
- Gas port = 0.102" per Compass Lake Engineering.
- Threaded muzzle.
- Dimple 180 degrees from the gas port for better location of gas port with gas block/FSB.
- Hard Blue for long lasting performance and accuracy.
The barrel is threaded 1/2x28, and Hard Blue is their trade name for nitriding. The profile is also set up correctly for an Ops Inc 12th Model mount and brake.
Also included are a LaRue low profile gas block and a rifle length gas tube with pin.
If you want to build up a Mk12 type SPR, this is a great barrel to use. It's set up to drop in and go. Superior Barrels is currently sold out of this configuration, so here's a chance for you to get a barrel without the wait.
