Up for sale is a 603 type upper receiver with the following characteristics:
Round forging
No forge code
Counter bored front pivot lug
Tear-drop Forward Assist
Standard A1 port door
I'm not much of an AR guy (this upper is a leftover from my first build), but going by the M16A1 upper guide on Arf, those characteristics should put this in the 1967-1970 production range for a Colt 603 upper.
Curiously, it lacks a proof mark, but I've read that the proofs sometimes go absent after a refinish (which this one may have had due to the dark gray color). It's definitely not an H&R upper since it lacks the H&R-type forging flash.
** SOLD ** $115 shipped CONUS. I have a black charging handle that can be included for an extra $5.
