    AK Build Tools & Flats Package/ Nor-Cal

    For sale, a few tools to help complete your Cali. legal AK build. All tools are lightly used and are in great working condition. Package includes the following:

    1) DPH arms AK Flat bending jig
    1) Harbor Freight 115v Spot welder w/modified lower tong for welding rails
    3) Tapco AK Receiver flats with Rails included
    2) AK center supports with U-drive screws

    Price is "SOLD" firm, prefer FTF transaction in the East Bay near Pleasanton/ Livermore 580fwy corridor. No shipping due to weight of tools. PM or email with questions, first "I'll Take It!" gets.

        alrighty, i'd be in for paying for all shipping and packaging costs, it would be nice to have the second bender and welder for the build parties

              I just got a 110v spotwelder from HF. What kind of modifications do I need to make on it in order to weld rails? Before you get rid of your setup, could you post some pictures of the modified welding tips?

                  The lower tong mod. was made with a piece of what I think was 3/4" copper pipe from home depot, then crush one end flat in a vice, and create the stepped bend to allow lower tong clearance once inside the receiver. A hole was then drilled through the crushed flat bent portion to allow the copper welding tip to be held, also bought at home depot.
