I'm reducing my accumulation of spare SVT-40 parts over the next few weeks starting with the following:
Stock & Handguard
In very good shape overall, the stock having what appears to be two old repairs, one addressing a heel crack behind the receiver, the other addressing a crack at the top of the cheek rest. I tested the integrity of the repairs and they are quite solid so I firmly believe it is safe to shoot (maybe even safer than a stock without cracks given the solidness of the repairs). The pictures reveal what appears to be a crack near the right buttstock which is only a scratch. Buttplate and band retainer spring are Ishevsk marked. Appears to have original finish with evidence of now unreadable numbering, may have been lightly sanded (but not by me). SPF to armedplumber
Trigger Group/Assembly
Complete trigger group, outstanding finish, no electropencil, has various markings including what appears to be circled "X"'s, a circled "G", and a circled "P". SPF to historicfirearms
Front Sight/Muzzle Assembly
Outstanding finish, Ishevsk marked. $75 shipped.
