BRAND NEW, never fired through the barrel. I cleaned the brown gunk out of the barrel (using safe patchworm system and WD-40 as recommended by rimfire central.com) and then oiled before storing. I bought the CZ 455 with both the .17 hmr and .22 lr barrels, but I only plan on shooting the .17 barrel.
