There is also a fastner in the middle with a rubber bushing that allows you to set the tension. Mags definitely wont fall out and they fit in either direction. These are a little more expensive because they are equipped with the Tek-Lok

I am using them for Glock 22 mags. Has some minor wear from 1 weekend of use. Paid $52 and asking $35

I also have 3 used factory GLOCK 22 10round mags. They show the normal wear that every GLOCK mags shows from actually being used They work absolutely perfectly and will continue to work perfectly (I bet your life on it).
