Benchmade 5000 Auto AXIS PRESIDIO Black on Black w/ benchmade tool

I am selling a Benchmade 5000 auto axis knife. It is black on black with a partially serrated blade. I am also including a Benchmade bluebox tool. The tool was only used to switch the clip side. The knife is in excellent like new condition and has never been used to cut anything. It also includes all original documentation and packaging as well as the benchmade nylon bag it came with. New the knife and tool would cost well over $250. I will sell both for $110 shipped anywhere in the US with insurance. Email geoff880@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Oh my god! I'm so pissed. So clearly, I was the first to post an "I'll take it". I instantly sent both a PM and an e-mail like this:

So at this point I'm assuming that I am was the first to inquire and hence I am the purchaser of the item. I send an e-mail explaining that while I do have PayPal, I would prefer to pay with a Money Order if possible. I never hear anything back, so today I send a follow-up e-mail. And the guy responds telling me that he sold the knife to someone else who PayPal'd the money to him. Nowhere in the ad did he say that paying with PayPal was a requirement. What the hell???

Now he's telling me that he responded to every e-mail he got with "Do you have PayPal" and someone else responded with a "yes" before me. So, it doesn't matter that I was the first to send him an e-mail. I was supposed to sit patiently by my computer awaiting his e-mail (which came 10:54am the next morning). Incidentally, I responded shortly after that (11:46 am), but according to him, the knife was sold even before he got my reply. What a douchebag!

My e-mail were not harassing at all! Please feel free to post them. And if you are going to accuse me of lying, please show what and where exactly I lied about. Also, you stated that you sold the knife to the first person that responded with a "yes" to having PayPal, not the first person who e-mailed you. Get your story straight.

I think it is a web forum with a classified section. I see no reason why I am not entitled to offer good deals on things I am selling to the members of this forum. If the mods see it differently then they can ban me. I have nothing to explain to either of you. Whine and call me childish names all you want. Makes no difference to me. I'm surprised you would waste bandwidth crying about some thing that you have nothing to do with and then have the gall to talk about "adding to the collective knowledge of the group."
