Ive always want to pick up some Tannerite, but never do.
Have you shot any of this at Local Ranges in LA/San Diego areas, BLM? Or solely on desert trips?

It's so fun I'm surprised it's still legal!
So far we've only blown it in the desert, out a little past barstow is where we go to in the middle of nowhere.

I would love to find out if any ranges allow this or what other BLM areas!

Years and years, just store in cool dry place, it's not volitile or anything, the dvd they sent with it shows them burning it once mixed with a blow torch and it doesn't ignite!

There are 10lb's in a case - the 1lb jars make a HUGE bang and the 1/2'ers aren't that far behind!

We threw in about IIRC 6 lbs into a 1gallon bucket and placed it about 100 yards away ... and you could feel the shockwave, it was pretty intense!

Ya i go camping up in calico every year and some of the guys brought some and in the middle of the night i just remember them shooting that crap and my whole truck was rocking haha.

This is a good deal for some fun LEGAL targets. Don't be afraid to buy this stuff and use it here. Many of us do (including cops). I am in the process of arranging it so everyone is on the same page as far as the current legal status of tannerite in this state. You will see this issue pop up again in the coming weeks with clarification.
