    PISTOL / AMMO CASES

These cases held part of a portable H/P EKG unit that the military uses. They are made out of some plastic/polymer/fiberglass or ? composit. They are 16"W, 14" D, and 13"H, with handles on two sides, top and bottom, and a loop for a strap. There are six stainless latches, and the rear hinge has sliding pins so the lid can be removed. Inside measures (at the smallest point) 13" by 10 1/2" by 9" tall, with an add'l 3" in the lid. My 8 3/8 629 fits inside at a slight angle. They are waterproof and air-tight (to the best of my knowledge) with a pressure relief valve on the front. I have removed the "innards" and a pair of oddball brackets on the outside. All of the hardware mounting holes are blind and leave no open holes. There is NO locking accommodation, although it shouldn't be too hard to figure something out.

I set one on the floor and balanced my 250# + body with one foot square in the center of the lid and it didn't budge. The cases weigh just under 14# empty.

    $50 each (I have 5).

I'm in Tracy, and will NOT ship (right now). Local pickup only. You local folks get the first shot at these. If they sell, I might be able to get more, and will work on shipping at that time.

    Any other questions gladly answered.

PM me if interested, with your name and phone #

Is that a hole on the back of the container? If not what is it?

That is a clouded window for an optical interface. There is a printed circuit board that screwed in from the back that "sees" through it.
