Want to mount a scope to your Mosin, but don't want to drill and tap. This 4" long new mount solves the problem and you do not need a turned down bolt for it to work! Our Mount System replaces the rear site. Just remove the rear sight and sight spring and this mount installs in the cavity that housed the rear leaf sight! This mount requires a Long Eye Relief scope. Note: This mount only works on models M91/30, M44, M91/59, M38, Type 53 with both the 2 3/8" 1000m rear site and the 3 3/8" 2000m rear site. Mount does NOT work on M91 and Finnish rifles that do not have the standard rear site such as the M39. (Does not include allen wrenches or extra pin)
