    SOLD!: 1911 60% Frames (Bay Area)

    I have (3) 1911 60% Frames. These are 4041 heat treated castings. I do not know what exactly needs to be done to finish it.

        Are 4041 heat treated castings considered to be regular steel, stainless steel, or just plain old cast aluminum?

          PM you the answer. I believe these are stainless steel.

          I am also taking trades for 1911 parts kit, maybe ar parts, and knives

            Are you sure those aren't 4140 Steel? Not stainless if so, but good steel none the less.
