I Have For Sale:
(1) Excellent Condition Smith Enterprises Inc US Coast Guard Muzzle Brake w/Castle Nut & Castle Nut Locking Screw (California Legal)
It is marked, "SEI USCG" underneath the MB at 6 o'clock and the letters "LL" are stamped twice above and below the "SEI USCG".
I purchased this Brand New from SEI years ago and had it mounted on my backup M1A. I fired exactly 500-rds of Portugese FMJ Surplus through the Rifle with this Muzzle Brake mounted. I have since sold the M1A and was saving this for another build which is not going to materialize due to my priorities shifting. It has not been used since I removed it and it has just sat in my M14 Parts Box.
This is the SEI Muzzle Brake WITHOUT a Dovetail for a Front Sight. I utilized this MB with an SEI Hooded Gas Lock Front Sight so no Dovetail for a Front Sight was a non-issue.
There is MINOR wear on the top leading edge of the MB. There is some Blue/Turquoise "coloring" within the MB, it is from excess Barnes Copper Removal Solvent which changed color after I shot it after cleaning. It DOES NOT affect Reliability or Accuracy WHATSOEVER and can be cleaned/removed, I just have not done it.
