FWIW - I don't think anybody has any idea what your random parts are, so they were just having a little fun. Just try posting this question up in a slightly more relevant forum - I mean, seriously, can you give ANY hints? Do you think it's for a handgun, rifle, shotgun, rimfire? ...try helping us help you.

they do look familiar. possibly from a break open shotgun. the part in the foreground of the first pic appears to possibly be a forend cocking piece of some sort
