WTS: AR-15/AK-47 30/40 round mag rebuild kits - Complete w/ unmarked mag body

Note: I update this thread at least weekly, sometimes daily. Ignore the posts where I note orders vs. stock on hand. Refer to the main thread post (here) for the current status. Pm/email me with questions. I don't always reply to each post in this thread.

(5/10/07) All items on hand and ready for shipment!!!!! All backorders have been shipped.

Pictures are prior to disassembly into rebuild kits. Your replacement parts kit, for repairing your legally owned preban magazines, will consist of parts separated into individual subcomponents. Do not reassemble these replacement parts kits into new magazines!!!!!!!!!

AR-15 milspec 30 rd mag rebuild kits - Okay Industries, military contract kits (Okay makes them for Colt as well). Standard grey military finish. COMPLETE KIT - Includes milspec body/spring/green follower and floor plate. Mag bodies are 2005 DATE CODED. These kits are new, on hand, and ready to ship. Price is $17 per mag rebuild kit. $1 per kit will be donated to Calguns.

AR-15 milspec 30 rd mag rebuild kits. Standard grey military finish. COMPLETE KIT - Includes milspec body/spring/green follower and floor plate. Mag bodies are not marked - no date code. These kits are new, on hand, and ready to ship. Price is $17 per mag rebuild kit. $1 per kit will be donated to Calguns.

AK-47 steel Eastern Europe/Chinese/communist 30 rd mag rebuild kits. COMPLETE KIT - Includes body/spring/follower and floor plate. Mag bodies are preban and are not marked - no date code. No rust/98% finish/may have insertion/storage marks. Ready to ship. Price is $20 per mag rebuild kit. $1 per kit will be donated to Calguns.

GRAB BAG - 5 rebuild kits, AK-47 30 rd, Chinese, Yugo BHO, Eastern European mixed. Mags have some rust (not unserviceable garbage) or cosmetic flaws. Guaranteed to function. $85 shipped per 5 kits. Already boxed in priority mail boxes, will not break down into smaller quantities. No choices, hence a grab bag. Works out to $15 each, plus $10 shipping.

AK-47 steel Romanian/East German 40 rd mag rebuild kits. COMPLETE KIT - Includes body/spring/follower and floor plate. Mag bodies are preban and are not marked - no date code. No rust/98% finish/may have insertion marks. Ready to ship. Price is $29 per mag rebuild kit. $1 per kit will be donated to Calguns.

FYI - I contacted the CA DOJ, (916) 263-4887, on three occaisions. I inquired as to whether I could ship COMPLETE replacement parts kits to CA. Each time, the answer was the same - YES. Shipping complete replacement parts kits is legal. It is the receiver's responsibility to use the parts in a lawful manner. Under no circumstances should you reassemble the parts into new magazines. I will not complete any transaction if you make any inference to creating a new magazine. THESE KITS ARE BEING SOLD AS REPLACEMENT PARTS KITS ONLY!!!!

Shipping will be via UPS insured w/ tracking number. In some instances, I may ship via USPS priority mail. Shipping is a flat $5 PLUS $1 per mag rebuild kit. I'll adjust shipping on higher quantities.

EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had email issues with those Calgun members that use Hotmail accounts. Please try to use a non-Hotmail email address or PM me. Drop me an email at weaponsrus@yahoo.com. Once a transaction is complete, I would appreciate positive feedback. HOWEVER, given the nature of the product, do not expect many people to leave feedback. It ain't going to happen, unless they get screwed. Many orders shipped to date. No news is good news!

Calguns does not condone illegal activities even if they are unintended.

No. You can use your followers out of the 30rd mags you already own(purchased before 2000) to complete one of these kits. I'm assuming they are 30 rd repair kits. So you can only use these parts to replace/repair a damaged part from one of the mags you currently posess.

A simple way to put it is like this: If you own say 2 30rd mags and you buy a repair kit you better only have 2 assembled 30rd mags left when all repairs are completed. If not. I think you will be getting an unpleasant visit from the DOJ/ATF.

I edited the post - mag rebuild kits are 30 rounders.

Rassd71 - I'm at a loss for words. Don't take this the wrong way, but I won't be able to complete a transaction for you.

Anybody else, please email me directly to complete the transaction, weaponsrus@yahoo.com

not sure what I said, but thank you.

I'm still really new to trying to figure out the gun laws in California.

                  Don't sweat it.

It's a damn shame that you should have to, and that we have to talk in freakin' legalese around here. You didn't do nothing wrong. Damn SOBn' government..
