just noticed, correct me if I'm wrong. Is the STARS ON THE FLAG flag on the DD rail suppose to be on the right side? I know the US FLAG is on the top left.

It is correct and the way it comes from DD. This is the Newest/Latest Generation Omega Rail from Daniels Defense w/ their new location.
