not a M4 upper nor with M4 extension feedramps. the upper loads rounds fine. I never had any issue with that, even with semi-auto 2-3 round tap.

Is that the JP adjustable gas block? I really like the way your upper looks. How much does it weigh?

Yes, JP the gas block is adjustable. It weights about 2 pounds without the BCG and CH. Thanks for the comment.
