SOLD
Selling complete kit for $100 including shipping to anywhere in the US:
- Die for .223 barrels, standard 1/2"x28 (cuts threads)
- Die handle (holds die, adds torque)
- Barrel thread alignment tool (aligns threads)
- 45 degree brass lap (for crowning if you need to shorten barrel)
- 500 grit abrasive compound (for lap to smooth new lip)
Cutting threads for a muzzle brake on your .223 costs $100-$150 if you can find a shop who's willing to do it in California (lot of misconceptions about the legality here). Going out of state costs shipping both ways and probably a visit to your FFL.
I'm selling the complete kit to cut your own threads for $100. Add a muzzle brake or shorten your existing barrel and re-thread. Make the money back by cutting threads for others as a service.
