how is this the wrong forum? isn't a lower receiver considered parts of the rifle?

Lower has a serial and is considered a firearm by itself.

not quite macentyre... the lower reciever of an AR is actually the part that is considered the actual firearm (the actual receiver with the # on it and needs to be registered). The stocks, barrels and upper receivers are all the non-FFL items. Good luck with the sale!
