    FS: Saiga Conversion Parts

    Hey guys

I've got about 15 sets of SAIGA .308 (minor fitting to install no perm. mods) conversion parts coming in pretty soon.

I offer the whole set for $40.00 (stock, FCG, Handguard) or $35.00 if I don't have the handguards.

I'll let you guys know when I have them all in stock.

Ill let everyone know when I get the package. I'll lay the parts out and take pics.

I have ANOTHER supplier who supposedly has TEN more of them.

You will all be in the loop

Do the .308 sets work with normal AK receivers, or will they need modification?

If they are like the 308 fcgs I encountered, they drop in just like any other AK fcgs. However, you may need to do the following to the receiver:

1.Cut the pistol grip screw hole back to allow the trigger to move.
2.Drill 2 holes for the trigger guard/plate. I then used screws to attach it to the receiver. This so I could easily convert back to PG config (whenever that happens).

**I opted for a G2 hammer to add 1 more US compliant part, this required some filing to get it to work.

These are very easy, minor mods and they get covered up if you decide to attach a pistol grip. Maybe JP has some tips to get around #1....

Best part about a "saiga-ized" NDS rifle is its more comfortable compared to just going gripless. Plus for me, it points more naturally that way.

Your first post is full of FAIL. You just scored zero on your reading and observation skills.
