Long story short I bought this Colt M4 A2 upper & Knights Armament RIS Rail in the late 90's early 2000's during the AWB at a local show.
I figured it was something special as the M4 upper was just being copied in neutered versions by BFI etc. Colt wouldn't give us the time of day back then.
I picked up an early Charging Handle by (I forget who now - might actually be colt ) but it is gray anodized for use in the upper on a pre ban 6530 Gov't Carbine back then.
The 6530 was Too Pristine (& cost me 3K back then) to do that to so this just sat.
It has not been used by me, just stored properly & lubed up since purchase. It sports a Smith Vortex Pinned & welded to bring it up to 16.1 inch's so no SBR worries. Came this way.
It has the M4 stamp up front & Feed ramps. I always figured it was pulled off a service weapon of some sort (Maybe a PD trade in or the like). Clean bore for its age & nice crisp lands.
Colt M4 Side sling. Original Gray Colt finish on the upper receiver. Has the Small take down pin holes. Includes an early Nice condition Vero Beach Light Purple KAC RIS rail w/ broom stick & a few panels.

I cant say its a Real 727 upper & I'm sure its not but she is period correct for the most part for a decent clone build.
Not really looking to part it out at the moment & I cant think of any trades id be interested in. If it sells, it sells - if not she lives comfortably in a safe I guess
