Sold
I have an Aero Precision M4E1 enhanced upper, complete with a set of flip up sights, and a better flash hider and barrel.
Location: SD
Will ship
Price SOLD
Was test fired, 40 rounds, no issues
The main upgrade on this upper is the Hanson profile barrel instead of the Socom profile that normally comes on standard uppers. Since the Socom barrel actually gets fatter towards the end, it's heavier. Instead, the Hanson keeps an even contour all the way through making it lighter and keeping the weight toward the shooter.
Parts list and description
Upper Receiver: Aero M4E1 Enhanced
Aero's Enhanced upper contacts the handrail and the barrel separately to improve accuracy. The lockup uses 8 screws for a secure mount to the handrail. The upper also doesn't have a forward assist, I think this adds to the clean "billet" look Aero claims it has.
Handrail: Aero M4E1 Enhanced Gen 2 15'' Black
This handrail is lightweight and has mlok on the 3 6 and 9 o'clock. The handguard itself is scalloped for grip and has heat venting ports in between mlok sections. This handrail's diameter around is a bit wide so it's great medium/larger hands and can reduce felt heat when the barrel heats up. The handrail does have some slight wear.
Barrel: Ballistic Advantage 16''mid-length Hanson
As stated above, the Hanson profile has been shown to greatly reduce felt weight while still maintaining barrel strength. This keeps the weight towards the shooter.
Flash Hider: VG6 Delta.
The VG6 has shown to be an upgrade over the standard A2 flash hiding capabilities. This could be better for the 16" barrel since there is less powder burn than the original 20'' which the A2 was designed for.
Flip up sights: F.A.B . FRBS
These polymer sights are light weight and require a slight tug to raise as opposed to the push button deploy. Could be better so you don't accidentally deploy them, however likely that might be.
